|Title||Franco-American Volunteer Brigade Medal, 1910|
Medal commemorating the convention of the Brigade des Volontaires Franco-Américaines de la Nouvelle Angleterre at Manchester NH 9/5/1910. The Brigade was organized by the Union St Jean Baptiste of Woonsocket, RI and drew together dozens of military groups from across New England. The only known Maine group was the Fusiliers Laurier of Biddeford, which is presumably the provenance of this item.
Brass, 1.25 in. diameter. Reverse is blank, except for the maker's mark - "Whitefield & Hoag Co., Newark, NJ."
